Ellen Barry
Ellen Barry joined the
Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority in February 2000 as Chief
Information Officer responsible for information technology
initiatives for the Authority. Prior to MPEA, Ellen Barry was the 1st
Deputy Chief Information Officer for the City of Chicago. Previous
to her role as 1st Deputy CIO, Ms. Barry worked with
Chicago’s Police Department in numerous IT and Strategic Planning
activities including efforts toward implementation of a major
Criminal History Records Information System. Prior to coming to the
City of Chicago, Ms. Barry worked as an internal consultant for
various private sector organizations in strategic IT development and
planning. Ms. Barry holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics
from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a MBA in Quantitative
Methods and Computers from Loyola University. Ms. Barry is the
recipient of the 2003 Excellence in Corporate IT Leadership Award
presented by WITI (Women in Technology, International) Chicago
Chapter.

John Bodine
John is currently VP & CIO for Elkay Manufacturing Company, has been
with Elkay for almost seven years, and is a member of Elkay’s Corporate
Executive Council. His responsibilities range over all Elkay Divisions with
both dotted line and solid line responsibilities to IT staff in those
organizations. John is also involved with Business Development, working to
grow the business through mergers and acquisitions. John graduated
from the United States Naval Academy, attended Columbia University to earn a
PhD in Geophysics, and subsequently joined Amoco Corporation as a research
scientist in oil and gas exploration in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His career at Amoco
progressed through a variety of roles bringing him ever closer to the line
business and ever more into use of high end computing for data and image
processing. Eventually he made the move into technology management in
Houston, Texas in support of both the exploration business and the extensive
re-engineering activities rampant in the early 1990’s. John was named
Technology Leader of Amoco’s World Wide Exploration Business Group with a
challenge to leverage technology for competitive advantage and opportunity
capture in support of projects being conducted around the world. John
eventually joined the Amoco Corporate IT organization in Chicago and
participated in several major re-engineering and business process design
activities as a Business Process Consultant. With the merger of Amoco and
BP, John took a retirement opportunity and consulted in the Chicago area for
several years before joining Elkay Manufacturing early in 2001.

Paul D'Arcy
As Vice President
of Marketing, Paul D'Arcy brings more than ten years of
technology marketing experience to MessageOne. D’Arcy's key
responsibility in this role is to oversee the company’s
overall marketing program including positioning, product and
program marketing, advertising, demand generation, analyst
relations, and event marketing. Prior to joining MessageOne,
D'Arcy worked for Austin-based Troux Technologies, a
venture-backed provider of IT Governance software to the
Fortune 1000, where he had responsibility for corporate
marketing, analyst relations, and inside sales. Prior to
Troux, D’Arcy held marketing management and product
management positions with Perceptant Software, Trilogy
Software, and Apple Computer. He holds an MBA from Harvard
University and a BA from Wesleyan University.

Sharon DeWitt (Getz)
Sharon
DeWitt (Getz) joined Zebra Technologies, Inc. in 1993. Zebra Technologies is a
company that delivers high value applications to it’s customers that identify,
locate, and track assets through the supply chain and is a market leader in the
Auto-identification market. Sharon was responsible for Zebra’s world-wide IT
Organization for the last nine years until she recently joined the Business
development team focusing on M&A activity. Before joining Zebra, Sharon worked
in various industries including defense, nuclear power, consumer marketing,
aerospace and consulting. Sharon holds a B.S. degree in Computer Information
Science and a MBA from Cleveland State University.

Jeff
Johnson
Jeff Johnson, VP of IS for Baxter Credit Union, joined the organization in
1997. He is responsible for all aspects of BCU technology including
infrastructure, applications development, operations, and the PMO. BCU has
a total of 25 locations throughout the US and Puerto Rico. BCU first
converted to VoIP in 2002 and presently seven of 25 locations leverage VoIP
capabilities. The overriding goal of their implementation was to integrate
and merge voice and data at the desktop to improve overall customer service.
Additional goals were to leverage existing investments in technology and
staff, reduce TCO, and to provide a flexible platform which could adapt to
rapidly changing needs. Prior to BCU, Jeff worked at Caremark, Sara Lee, and
Waste Management. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Lawrence University,
Appleton WI.

Andy Jurczyk
Andy Jurczyk is the Chief
Information Officer of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, LLP, a law firm widely
respected for creating winning strategies for businesses, nonprofit
organizations and individuals, with offices in nine U.S. cities and a global
reach throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. He is responsible for the
strategic planning and direction of technology for the Firm and the alignment of
technology with the strategic plan for the business. Andy came to Sonnenschein
in 1997 with 20 years' experience in the technology field. Most recently, Andy
served as the Director of Operations at Donnelly Enterprise Solutions, Inc. At
Sidley, Austin, Brown & Wood, he served as the Manager of Technology. He also
served as Senior Systems Engineer at AT&T where he designed networks for the
Midwest region. Andy has taken part in various public speaking engagements on
topics including legal technology, outsourcing and other technology and
management related subjects. He is an active member of the Computer Technology
Board for Sacred Heart Schools in Chicago, the Technology Executive Network
(TEN), Association for Legal Administrators (ALA), US Secret Service - CECTF, &
Illinois CIO Exchange (ICE). Andy is on the Editorial Advisory Board for Law
Technology News. He is also a member of Infragard, civilian membership in
the homeland security effort coordinated by the FBI.

Lloyd F. Love
Lloyd F. Love joined AMCOL
International Corp. in July 1999 as Chief Information Officer and was promoted
to Vice President in 2000. He was formerly Senior Vice President, Chief
Information Officer for Baxter Credit Union in Deerfield, Ill. Prior to joining
Baxter, Love held a variety of senior information systems management positions
with Caremark International, Helene Curtis Industries, Montgomery Ward and Shoe
Corporation of America. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business
administration from The Ohio State University and Franklin University in
Columbus, Ohio. Love is a member of the Executives Club of Chicago Technology
Strategy Group, and Technology Committee member, Manufacturers Alliance/MAPI E
Information Systems Management Council, Council of Supply Chain Management
Professionals, Association of Information Technology Professionals and the
Society for Information Management.

John Moon
John C. Moon is the Vice
President and Chief Information Officer of Johnson Outdoors Inc., a
leading global outdoor recreational products company. Mr. Moon is
responsible for the Company’s information technology function, and
defining and implementing the company’s strategic use of information
technology worldwide. Prior to joining Johnson Outdoors, Mr. Moon
enjoyed a successful 23 year career at Baxter International Inc. and
Caremark International (a 2002 spin-off of Baxter) where he held a
variety of positions of increasing responsibility before being named
Baxter’s Chief Information Officer in 2000 and Corporate Vice President
in 2002. Prior to joining Baxter, Mr. Moon held positions in the
telecommunications and software industries. Mr. Moon was named CIO
of the Year in 2001 by the Association of Information Technology
Professionals and was selected as a Premier 100 IT Leader by
Computerworld Magazine in 2003. Mr. Moon served as a Board member of
the Global Healthcare Exchange, the leading internet trading exchange
for the Healthcare industry from 2003 – 2006.
Mr. Moon earned a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, and holds a Master’s
Degree in Management Information Systems from Northern Illinois
University. He is an active member of the Society of Information
Management and the Association of Information Technology Professionals.

John Payton
John Payton has over 20 years experience in IT. He
started out in an entry level role and by the age of 39, he had worked his way
up to Director of IT. Along the way he (and his teams) have been recognized for
their achievements winning many industry awards. John has a Masters Degree in
Business and has worked in the following industries: Distribution,
Manufacturing, Health Care, and Financial services. John is one of those rare
individuals who has a deep understanding of business processes, technology, and
people.

Ken Pederson
Ken Pedersen has over
twenty-four years technology industry experience in
management, management consulting, sales and marketing.
As author and consultant, he has written numerous
articles and three books on technology topics from high
technology sales to expert systems development
methodologies. As an entrepreneur, Pedersen helped lead
network testing firm Progressive Computing until its
successful sale to publicly-held Network Associates.
Most recently, from his position as CIO for Luna Carpet
and Blinds, Ken was promoted to Chief Operating Officer
effective November 1.

Yvonne Scott
In 2004, Ms.
Scott was elected Vice President of GATX. In 2003, Ms. Scott became
Chief Information Office of GATX. Her responsibilities include the
management of all Information Systems-related activities. Ms. Scott
joined GATX in 1990 as Manager, Information Systems Audit and has held
various positions, most recently, Vice President and CIO, GATX Rail.
Prior to joining GATX, Ms. Scott worked at Unocal Corporation for more
than ten years in various positions, including internal consulting
services. Ms. Scott has an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a
BS in General Management and Accounting from Purdue University. Ms.
Scott is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Certificate in Data
Processing.

Patricia Shafer
Patricia Shafer is
President of Compel Ltd., an international consulting and research firm
dedicated to Evoking.Courageous.Leadership(SM). Associates specialize
in four practice areas: Inspiring Leaders, Mentoring Multinationals,
Empowering Women and Transforming Technology. Patricia has
provided consulting and coaching services to executives and managers in
15 countries; held leadership positions at two global Fortune 100
companies; and led strategic change initiatives touching headquarters,
manufacturing and retail sites. One of the initiatives was cited by
TIME Magazine for changing the dynamics in an industry and being a
public relations success of the year. She is a contributing author
to the books Enlightened Power (Wiley/Jossey-Bass, 2005) and Managing
Worldwide Operations and Communications with Information Technology (IGI-Global,
2007), as well as a columnist on management issues for the magazine
Global HR News. In late 2007, she will lead a project to produce a
five-book series on “Transformative Technologies” – focusing on the
integration of technology and people-centered management to improve
organizational results. She also led the development of the Compel
Ltd. organizational research initiatives “The Whole World at Work:
Managers Around the Globe Tell Us What’s Changed and What Still Needs to
Change in Organizations”; “Connected Technology Leaders”; and the “Women
in Technology 2007 Report” (a collaboration of WITI and Compel Ltd.).
Patricia holds an MSc in Consulting and Coaching for Change - a
joint-venture program of Oxford University, UK, and HEC, France; an MBA,
Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management; an MA,
Journalism, the Ohio State University; and certifications in numerous
leadership and organizational development assessments.

Jim Vaselopulos
Jim Vaselopulos is a Vice
President for PSC Group, LLC of Chicago, where he is responsible for
managing strategic engagements with clients having eBusiness initiatives
and aspirations. Jim has been involved in Internet marketing
efforts since 1994 and brings a wealth of strategic planning and
business development experience to the process. Jim became
involved with the Internet in early 1993 at Rockwell where he managed
the development of several comprehensive and global web based solutions.
Since then he has worked with clients such as Coca-Cola, Orbitz, Echo,
Carr Futures, Cherry, and Omron on a vast array of Internet marketing,
eCommerce, knowledge management and web development projects. Jim
holds an Engineering degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA
from Marquette University.

John Von Stein
John W. Von Stein is Executive Vice President and Chief
Information Officer (CIO) of The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC). Von
Stein joined OCC in 2004 and is responsible for all OCC Technology
Services.
Prior to joining OCC, Von Stein was Vice President of Information
Technology (IT) at Cargill Inc. (Cargill). In his 10 years at Cargill,
Von Stein held the following positions: VP of IT for Cargill's Latin
America Region, Global IT Leader for the Grain and Oilseed Supply Chain
Platform, Divisional CIO of Cargill Investor Services, and Global
Information Technology Manager of Cargill Energy Trading. Prior to
joining Cargill, Von Stein worked in several capacities including
trading operations management, financial services consulting and
sales/marketing for Louis Dreyfus Energy Corp., Deloitte & Touche
Consulting, and IBM respectively. Von Stein has a B.S. from Quinnipiac
University and a M.B.A. from University of
Bridgeport.

Walker White
Walker White is Vice President of
Technology at BDNA Corporation. He is responsible for
providing guidance to customers on utilizing BDNA's solutions to
improve efficiency in their IT environment and for ensuring that
customer feedback is incorporated into our products. Prior to his
arrival at BDNA, White was a 12 year veteran of Oracle Corporation.
During his tenure at Oracle, he held positions as Vice President of
Applications Technology, Chief Technologist of Oracle Service
Industries, Product Line Manager for Hewlett-Packard and other
technical management positions. White was a regular speaker at many
commercial, government and educational information technology
forums. White is a graduate of University of California, San Diego,
with a B.S. in Computer Engineering.

Mike Zanillo
Mike
Zanillo is the Chief Information Officer of WMS. WMS is a
leading manufacturer in the entertainment industry. During
his career, Mike has served in senior technology management
roles for several major corporations including Motorola, USX,
FMC and Rexnord. During his twenty-one years at Motorola, he
served in a number of information technology and product
management roles within operating units and corporate management
levels of the company. He managed the early adoption of an
integrated ERP strategy as one of Oracle’s initial beta
customers for its then newly released integrated applications
suite. Mike was the leading sponsor of a global
integration strategy as part of the Motorola’s ERP initiative
leveraging leading EAI technologies. He also served as the Sr.
Director of Product Management for Invisix, Inc. a joint-venture
formed between Motorola and Cisco in forming a global
partnership program of software providers. In his career,
Mike has directed a number of large-scale software development,
system integration and business process re-engineering efforts
based on several leading application platforms including SAP,
Oracle and Peoplesoft. He currently serves on the Strategy
Committee of WMS. Mike holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and has completed post-graduate business
studies at the school of business programs at Loyola and Northern Illinois Universities.

Bob Zimmerman
Bob’s
distinguished career in custom software development spans more
than two decades and has been largely dedicated to the process
of leveraging technology to drive innovation and growth. As
Geneca's Vice President of Delivery, Bob guides the best

satisfaction and the delivery of software in a visible,
predictable way. Bob is a specialist in software management,
