Lawrence Byrd
Lawrence Byrd is
Director of Communications Enabled Business Processes and helps
drive the definition and communication of Avaya’s intelligent
communications strategy. Lawrence has over fifteen years of telephony,
CRM and contact center experience and over twenty-five years of
advanced software and Internet experience. Lawrence was co-founder of Quintus Corporation
in 1984, a provider of multimedia contact center software, which
was acquired by Avaya in 2001. Lawrence
has a BA in Philosophy from Durham, England, was a research associate in the
Department of Artificial Intelligence at the University of
Edinburgh, Scotland, and now lives with his family in California.

Paul Carugati
Paul
Carugati is a Senior Wireless Security Engineer in Motorola’s Wireless
Security Services group. He has more than five years experience within the
Information Technology field specializing in the wireless security domain.
Mr. Carugati assisted in the architecture of the Motorola enterprise and
supply-chain WLAN environments. In addition to wireless security, Paul has
extended experience in baseline network security threat analysis and
mitigation, with emphasis in architectural and application-level security.
He has built multiple Internet points-of-presence within Motorola and sits
on the WLAN architecture/governance board.
Paul Carugati holds a B.S.
degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University. He is also a
Cisco Certified Network Associate and is certified in the National Security
Agency’s INFOSEC Assessment and Evaluation Methodology (IAM/IEM).

Bill
Haskins
Bill Haskins is the Director of
Collaboration and Network Services in Global Crossing’s IT
organization. Mr.
Haskins is responsible for delivering Global Crossing’s
internal user community with Network connectivity, Telephony, Mobile and Video
Communications, Collaboration services including eMail,
Messaging, and documentation repositories, and our Directory
Services. Mr.
Haskins has been with Global Crossing for 10 years, and
originally managed the operational teams responsible for
delivering the video and audio conferencing product lines. Mr.
Haskins has spent several years establishing and
maintaining Global
Crossing's quality assurance and Sarbanes Oxley
compliancy programs, and has
spent the last three years focused on executing against the
Unified Communications roadmap.

Dawn Kolb
Dawn
is the Vice President of Systems Operations for Global Crossing.
She joined the company in 1982 as an Operator and have worked
through the ranks to her current position. Dawn's global
responsibilities include: systems support (mainframe, As400, UNIX,
Intel), Help desk, Desktop, network, Telecom, and Disaster Recovery.
She is a member
of the Michigan
Council of Women in Technology and has received certification from
the Control Data Institute of Technology.

Krishna Kurapati
Krishna is the Founder and Chief
Technology Officer of Sipera Systems. Krishna
founded Sipera Systems in 2003 and serves as the CTO where he oversees
Sipera’s strategic product direction and architecture while leading the
product management and research teams. He is an industry expert with
over 15 years experience in voice and security technologies; he also
holds 5 patents and speaks at industry conferences.
Krishna is a serial entrepreneur and
co-founded IPCell Technologies, in 1998 and served as the VP of
Engineering where he led the development of the world’s first Class 5/4
softswitch. IPCell was acquired by Cisco for $213 million and, from
2000-2002,
Krishna was the Director of Engineering
with Cisco spearheading the BTS10200 Softswitch product. Krishna
holds an MS from the Indian Institute of Science,
Bangalore and BE from
Osmania
University,
Hyderabad.

Steve Lavin
Stephen Lavin is the Director
of Professional Services who leads and directs IT services for RedSky
Technologies. Mr. Lavin’s technical team of specialists delivers
E911 project management and implementation services for E911 Manager in
all types of complex TDM and VoIP environments. Mr. Lavin’s team has
implemented E911 for more than 200 Fortune 1000 organizations as well as
federal, state and local government entities. He also manages RedSky’s
internal technology infrastructure. Before joining RedSky, Mr.
Lavin held senior level, global IT infrastructure positions with
Andersen (formerly Arthur Andersen, LLC), and Abbott Laboratories.

Margi Shaw
Margi Shaw joined CIMCO Communications
in 2001. As Senior Vice President, Ms. Shaw leads CIMCO's product
management and development, provisioning, engineering, technical support
and customer care teams. These teams contain the fundamental necessities
that allow CIMCO to provide state-of-the-art products, services and
support to its customers. Prior to joining, she co-founded Evolution
Group, L.L.C., a Cleveland-based business management consulting firm
specializing in developing strategic plans for marketing, sales,
operations and support systems. Previously, Ms. Shaw served as vice
president of service delivery at ICG Communications and vice president
of network services at CBG, Inc.

Laury Temaner
With 15 years Telecommunication
experience, Laury has spent the majority of that time
implementing and managing Voice & Data Networks. As
Telecommunication Manager, her success at reducing costs on
major carrier contracts, implementing Voice System upgrades
including VOIP and building solid vendor relationships is the
key to her success.
