Marcin Budzik
Over the last year, in the new role as the Company’s IT
Security & Compliance Officer, at Fort Dearborn Company, who faces new
challenges, including Data Security, Risk Management and Disaster
Recovery. During the tenure with Fort Dearborn, Marcin instigated a
number of programs and initiatives including rigid Problem and Change
Management, Risk Management and Systems Monitoring. Lead company’s first
Disaster Recovery program which resulted a first comprehensive DR Plan
and an off-site DR location. Current challenges include moving to a new
DR site and re-evaluating DR requirements from a risk based and business
impact analysis perspectives. Between 1994 and 1998 worked for
non-for-profit and telecommunication sectors in technical roles
including infrastructure consulting, UNIX and Networking. Through out
his career, Marcin has been a holder of key industry certifications,
including CNE, MSCE, ITIL and most recently CISSP. He is member of
Association of Computing Machinery, IT Infrastructure Association, and
ISC square. He also holds a BA in Computer Science Northeaster
University and graduate degree in Information Systems Management from
Roosevelt University. In spare time, Marcin spends time with his family,
but also he is not a stranger to scuba and wind surfing. He is also an
aspiring marathoner.

David A. Chapa
David
has invested over 23 years in the computer industry focusing
specifically on data protection, data disaster recovery and business
resumption practices. He has held several senior level technical
positions with companies such as Cheyenne Software, OpenVision, and ADIC
and Quantum. David is currently Director of DP Strategy/Global
Alliances at NetApp.
Prior to joining
NetApp, David served as Senior Technologist where his global
responsibilities included evangelizing the value of disk based backup,
integrated software solutions and the value of backup and recovery
planning with purpose. In his role with NetApp, bringing the same
passion and experience in backup and recovery, David continues to
evangelize disk based data protection, snapshot based data protection
and influences the backup and recovery strategy at NetApp.
David is an
energetic, dynamic speaker who brings a great deal of experiential
knowledge, humor and keen insights to his audience. He has been a
featured speaker at VERITAS Vision, CA World, Storage World, Chicago
Software Association, CAMP/IT and served as panelist on various
discussions related to disaster recovery, compliance and the use of disk
and tape for backup and backup/recovery strategies.
David has written
several articles and blogs, is the co-author of “Implementing Backup and
Recovery”, the Technical Editor of “Cloud Security” and is recognized
worldwide as an authority on the subject of Backup and Recovery. In
addition, David is also a member of SNIA’s Data Protection and Capacity
Optimization (DPCO) Committee, whose mission is to foster growth and
success of the storage market in the areas of data protection and
capacity optimization technologies.

Crump
George
Crump is founder of Storage Switzerland. He has been a successful
Senior Sales and Engineering Manager with twenty years of experience
designing storage solutions for IT decision makers across the US. A
proven track record of not only personal sales success but also
developing successful sales people, engineers, product management and
channels. From January 1996 through April 2007,
while working at SANZ, he has held the following positions:

President and General Manager, SANZ Storage Business, Vice President
SANZ Commercial Division, Vice President of Technology
Regional Manager, Gulf
Coast, and Account Executive.

John M. Ferenzi
John spent seven of his ten years
with Motorola’s Mobile Devices Business Unit as a Disaster
Recovery Specialist. While at Motorola John has collaborated
with the IT Global Functional Areas and customers in order to
facilitate Global Disaster Recovery Programs and Projects for
his business unit to comply with the Motorola Corporate Security
requirements and standards policies. John has 10 years in
the information technology area as a Disaster Recovery
Specialist, Quality Assurance, Software Development Process and
Information Security. John also has 10 years in the Internal
Audit area. Prior to joining Motorola, John worked for Kemper
Insurance, Capital Bank in
Florida and a
banking holding company for Beverly Bank as an IT Auditor. John
is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and is in the process
of completing his certification as a Certified Business
Continuity Professional.

Paulette Hradnansky
Paulette is a
Senior IT Director in the Home and Networks Mobility business for
Motorola. In her current role, she is responsible for the service
delivery and availability of end to end global IT services to the business
Prior to that role, she served as the Supply Chain IT Operations Director
for 18 months, and the Director of Information Security
Operations at Motorola, where
she was involved in establishing,
building, implementing and directing various information security efforts
across the enterprise for approximately 15
years. In that role, she had global responsibilities for providing security services which included
the vulnerability remediation program, cyber emergency response program,
computer forensics and electronic discovery programs, threat analysis,
detection and security monitoring programs, external business partner
connectivity program and global disaster recovery and response. Paulette
has more than 25 years in the information technology area. Prior to joining
Motorola, Paulette worked for Comdisco, Washington National Insurance
Company and Carl Fischer, Inc. in various capacities.

Kevin
Jablonski
Kevin Jablonski is Vice President of Technology for Anue
Systems. Mr. Jablonski has 20+ years of experience during which he
developed invaluable methods for understanding how complex technologies can
benefit critical business initiatives in the Service Provider, NEM,
Enterprise and Government markets. He began his career with the United
States Marine Corp where he held a secret clearance. He gained strong
leadership and conflict-resolution skills during many missions that involved
deploying early warning surveillance equipment around the globe. After
returning to civilian life, he focused on the performance of business
applications over evolving Microwave, Satellite, TDM, ATM, and
Routed/Switched Networks. He held positions with Hewlett Packard, Hughes
Communications, Ascom Timeplex, FORE Systems, and Juniper Networks. He also
manages his own successful consulting practice.

Tim
Lund
Tim Lund is the Storage Executive at Dell responsible for
the Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana region. Tim has specialized in the
storage and virtualization field for Dell over the past 3 ½ years
developing expertise within multiple sectors. Besides his storage
expertise, Tim’s tenure at Dell also includes 5 years as a systems
consultant, interacting with both the technical and business aspects of
an organization. Prior to Dell, Tim was the Network Support Manager for
a multi-bank holding company and also worked for IBM for 7 years in
various customer facing positions.

Daniel Marchik
Dan is the Disaster Recovery
Coordinator at Centegra Health System in McHenry, IL. He has been in
the disaster recovery field for 9 years, working in the financial and
healthcare sectors. In the past, he has done disaster recovery work at
ABN AMRO Bank, Fidelity Information Services, and Deloitte. Dan has
worked both in the technical and business sides of disaster recovery,
managing and providing technical support for hotsites, as well as
conducting business impact analyses, and coordinating recovery tests.
He has helped clients relocate to recovery sites in the wake of Florida
hurricanes and the LaSalle Bank Building fire in 2004.

Gregg Revak
Gregg
Revak is Vice President of IT Operations and Technical Support for FirstGroup
America (formerly Laidlaw), the largest private contractor of student
transportation services in North America. FirstGroup transports over 2.9 million
students to and from school every day with its fleet of over 62,000 buses and
over 68,000 employees and also provides metropolitan transit services and
maintenance. Gregg is responsible for FirstGroup’s North American IT operations
and technical support including the company’s enterprise data centers in Chicago
and Cincinnati and over 1,000 field locations across the US and Canada. Gregg
has over 20 years of Information Technology industry experience starting in the
late 1970s as a programmer. He has held IT leadership positions as Director, IT
Operations at ServiceMaster, VP of IT at Business Logic, Director of IT at AANA
and programmer and IT manager at Siemens-Elema. He has presented internet,
security and IT topics at conferences in Chicago, Washington, DC and Boston.
Gregg holds a CCP designation and attended Cornell College, in Mt. Vernon.

Troy Winskowicz
As the
Director of MessageOne’s Notification Services Practice, Troy Winskowicz
supports global deployments of emergency notification services across
millions of customers in many industries. For almost 10 years, Mr.
Winskowicz has helped to shape the notification industry – by
developing, specifying, managing, and deploying emergency notification
tools. He has traveled around the world presenting at conferences and
seminars on best practices of automated crisis communications. Mr.
Winskowicz has authored many papers and articles on automated crisis
communications that can be found in publications such as CPM Global
Assurance and Disaster Recovery Journal.
