Farrant is currently a Senior Solutions Consultant with Meridian IT Inc Open
Systems Division. Mark has over 20 years experience in the IT industry in both
the government and private sectors and has provided procedural solution sets for
systems management, systems implementation, compliance, governance, business
continuity and disaster recovery planning. With the maturity of the
virtualization market, Mark’s principal area of focus is looking at complete
virtualization solutions sets and not just the various virtualization
technologies available.
By providing a
strategic roadmap to implement virtualization we define a reliable, flexible and
adaptable IT environment to meet the challenges of an ever changing business
landscape while maximizing on the reduced cost of ownership.
This
means that IT is now transformed from a cost center to a strategic business

Chris
is Director of Technical Services for KACE Networks, Inc. Chris has
spent almost 20 years in enterprise technology companies, covering
database application design and development, mobile/wireless technology
and systems management. Most recently, he has focused on changing the
way software is delivered, working with software as a service and
appliance-based software delivery. At KACE, his team is responsible for
the technical success of customers, including systems engineering and
professional services. He has an A.B. from
the University of California, Berkeley.

Eric Lotter
Eric Lotter is Senior Systems
Engineer, Virtual Lab Management Practice Lead for Surgient.
Before joining Surgient in Early 2003, Eric was a Regional
Practice Lead for Configuration and Change Management at IBM.
Eric lead many Fortune 100 companies in the architecture design,
configuration and use of leading change management solutions for
development and testing organizations. This role proved to be
cross functional with IT organizations and the consumers of that
infrastructure.

Jesse Luna
Jesse Luna leads our
Virtualization Consulting Practice that delivers key services which help
companies identify consolidation opportunities, develop infrastructure
lifecycle plans and build virtualized infrastructures to help clients
meet business requirements. Acxiom’s full lifecycle solution leverages
our core competencies partnered with industry leading technical
capability to deliver highly optimized solutions for our clients.
Jesse has more than 20 years experience in the IT industry designing,
building and delivering IT services for a wide range of companies. In
his previous role as an IT consultant, Jesse worked with clients to
implement tools and technologies to optimize their applications. For 13
years, he worked for Accenture’s Information Technology practice as a
technologist and senior manager. While at Accenture, Jesse oversaw many
of the transformational projects within the company to modernize systems
and implement new technologies for a global audience. He is
proficient in virtualization technologies, Microsoft computing platforms
(specifically collaboration tools, such as SharePoint and Exchange) and
active directory/directory integration services. Jesse is a member
of the National Society of Hispanic Professionals and is a frequent
speaker for industry conferences such as VMware’s Disaster Recovery
Seminar Series. He is a graduate of MacCormac College and participated
in training programs for Lotus, Cisco, Bay Networks (ATM concepts and
design) and Microsoft.

Rob McKeown
Rob McKeown is a Distributed Systems Architect and has been employed by
Zurich Financial Services for the past ten years. He has over 20 years
experience in the IT industry in both software development and
operations support of mission critical applications. Rob's area of
expertise is in the automation of physical and now virtual server
deployment processes for the past four years. Rob strives towards
establishing and maintaining an N+1 infrastructure to leverage the
capabilities of VMware to get as much of the job done between 9am and
5pm as possible while also staying ahead of the demand for providing
fast solutions to the business. He is the lead architect and project
manager for his companies VMware infrastructure of 2000+ virtual
machines and 160+ hosts and directs the current efforts towards VI3
migration across ten data centers and three dozen field offices across
North America. Rob holds MCSE certification, but finds himself too busy
at work lately to take the time to test for VCP certification. He is a
graduate from Northern Illinois University with two B.S. degrees in
Theoretical Computer Science and Probability and Statistics.

Pat O'Malley
From January 2000 to the present, Pat
has been Hewitt Associate's sole International Technology Consultant,
serving over 25,000 associates in 35 countries, as well as a member of
Hewitt's Enterprise Architecture team. He is the lead architect in the
company's Desktop Virtualization initiative. Pat developed the
methodology for the optimization of host and virtual machines, which
significantly increased performance and reduced storage requirements. He
has developed a number of unique solutions for the company's global
challenges, like a single enterprise-wide e-mail solution supporting
many languages. With Hewitt since 1993 he also served as a Desktop
Applications Product Manager and a Hardware and Software Support
Technician. He has a B.A. from Northern Illinois University and is a
Microsoft Certified Professional.

Mark Samuelson
Mark Samuelson is a
Senior Enterprise consultant that has been employed by Optimus Solutions
for the past eight years. Mark has been implementing storage solutions
for the past 12 years for fortune 500 companies. He has primarily been
focused on implementing large storage systems for heterogeneous backup
and recovery solutions, VmWare virtualization implementations, Highly
available UNIX clusters. Mark has implemented over a wide variety of
Storage vendors IBM, EMC, Hitachi, DataDomain, Network appliance,
Storage Tek and many others.

Joshua Shi
Joshua Shi is
Security Architect at TransUnion. He has
over a decade of Information Technology experience spanning over
multiple sectors - aviation, service, publishing, manufacturing, and
financial and non-profit organizations. He specializes in strategic
enterprise architecture/infrastructure projects using Microsoft
solutions, virtualization technologies, networking and now focuses on
Information Security. His visionary expertise has helped revolutionize
Small Businesses and Fortune companies, and has resulted in improving
people's lives through the use of technology. He has been proving
instrumental to the company's bottom line. Joshua holds MCSE, Small
Business Specialist, Security+, PCT, VCP and A+ certifications. He
graduated from The University of Phoenix with an Information Technology
degree and was recently awarded the Thunderbird, Garvin School of
International Management Global Management and Leadership Certificates.

Robert Zylowski
Robert
Zylowski has 20 years of experience in managing and implementing
infrastructure technologies in a variety of capacities including
strategic planning, architectural design, and operational
design. Over the past five years he has concentrated his efforts
in server and application virtualization having helped some of
the country’s largest corporations architect their
virtualization solutions. As a Director at Glasshouse
within the virtualization competency Zylowski leads projects for
clients using proprietary methodology based on facilitation and
consensus building for strategy, architecture, design
development and migrations. Prior to Glasshouse, Zylowski was
the Director of Consulting for RapidApp and a Principal
Consultant for Renaissance Worldwide, Inc. where he worked for
many Fortune 1,000 companies in the New York Metro region and
across the country. Zylowski has an extremely diverse
background including positions as a network systems manager,
manufacturing systems manager, and web development project
manager. He holds an MBA from the William E. Simon Graduate
School of Business.
