Norman A. Alesi
Norman is a Partner and Executive VP, of the Vieo Consulting Group (A Laurus Company). He is a co-founder of Laurus and is responsible for the overall development and direction of the Vieo Consulting Group. In addition, Norm is currently performing an interim role serving an internal planning function as well as corporate operations function for Laurus. Norm has 20 successful years of experience in building professional service organizations, with a core competence in strategy and operations management. He has also managed and performed business consulting activities for numerous middle market companies in both process and discrete manufacturing environments throughout his career. Most recently, Norm served as President of a discrete manufacturer, doubling the size of this business and quadrupling its EBITDA over a 4-year term. Norm holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, 1987, and an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, 1995. Norm is past president and board member of the Entrepreneur's Organization, has served on several other boards, and enjoys teaching on the subjects of business strategy and entrepreneurship.


Cynthia Berry

Cynthia, manager of Business Continuity and Security at DeVry Inc., oversees the business development of global COOP and enterprise-wide BC plans while developing security initiatives, organizing awareness training as well as assisting with IT DR strategic planning.  She is involved in the enhancement of security policies to protect students and employees against threats and violence, while developing robust threat assessment teams (TAT) consisting of law enforcement, crisis consultants, psychologists and other respected professionals.  This also includes assisting in the management of an international team of emergency response coordinators and first responders.  A published author, Cynthia has presented at conferences and seminars on Leadership, Change Management, and Disaster Recovery.  Cynthia is a graduate from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and holds advanced degrees in Psychology and Counseling.


Jamie Cerra
As a Senior Systems Engineer, he travels throughout the US meeting with customers to assist them with piloting technology, live installations, support and training for Persystent Suite, the world’s fastest automated PC recovery solution.  In the past, he has served as network administrator, senior instructor and telecommunications consultant.  He believes he could become a pretty good golfer . . . if only he had more free time.


Paulette Hradnansky
Paulette is  a Senior IT Director in the Home and Networks Mobility business for Motorola.   In her current role, she is responsible for the service delivery and availability of end to end global IT services to the business    Prior to that role, she served as the Supply Chain IT Operations Director for 18 months, and the Director of Information Security Operations at Motorola, where she  was involved in establishing, building, implementing and directing various information security efforts across the enterprise for  approximately 15 years.   In  that role, she  had  global responsibilities for providing security services which  included  the vulnerability remediation program, cyber emergency response program, computer forensics and electronic discovery programs, threat analysis, detection and security monitoring programs, external business partner connectivity program and global disaster recovery and response.   Paulette has more than 25 years in the information technology area. Prior to joining Motorola, Paulette worked for Comdisco,  Washington National Insurance Company and Carl Fischer, Inc.  in various capacities.


David Klauser

David is now part of the executive team at Transcendent Technologies, LLC providing executive level sales and marketing leadership, focusing on Business Applications, Infrastructure Solutions and I.T. Strategy.  Before joining Transcendent, David was with Atrato (data storage start up) and was also with Insight Investments for several years running sales for the East United States. David was the Founder and CEO of PRISM Technologies, where David and his team built a $20M data storage solutions integrator within three years. Prior to launching PRISM, David was a VP at Xiotech with management at all levels of direct, channel and alliance leadership.  David was one of the original employees at Xiotech during start up mode, exceeding quota at all levels of individual and team performance, while also gaining M&A experience over a ten year tenure through two separate M&A's, both by Seagate for $360M in 1999 and again by Oak Investments in 2002.  Prior to joining Xiotech Corporation, David worked for financial services organizations, including founding a financial trading company which focused on options trading in the technology sector.  David graduated from The University of Minnesota with a BA in Economics, a minor in international finance, and also holds an AA and an AS degree.  David is married with five children.


Rob Peglar

Rob Peglar is Vice President, Technology for Xiotech Corporation. A 31-year industry veteran and published author, he leads the shaping of strategic vision, emerging technologies, defining future offering portfolios including business and technology requirements, product planning and industry/customer liaison. He is a member of the SNIA Board of Directors, serves as Chair of the SNIA Tutorials, as a Board member of the Green Storage Initiative, and as Secretary/Treasurer of the Blade Systems Alliance. He has extensive experience in storage virtualization, the architecture of large heterogeneous SANs, replication and archiving strategy, disaster avoidance and compliance, information risk management, distributed cluster storage architectures and is a sought-after speaker and panelist at leading storage and networking-related seminars and conferences worldwide. Prior to joining Xiotech in August 2000, Mr. Peglar held key technology specialist and engineering management positions over a nine-year period at StorageTek and at their networking subsidiary, Network Systems Corporation. Prior to StorageTek, he held engineering development and product management positions at Control Data Corporation and its supercomputer division, ETA Systems. Mr. Peglar holds the B.S. degree in Computer Science from Washington University, St. Louis Missouri, and performed graduate work at Washington University’s Sever Institute of Engineering. His research background includes I/O performance analysis, queuing theory, parallel systems architecture and OS design, storage networking protocols, clustering algorithms and virtual systems optimization.


Jerry Reick
Jerry A. Reick, Vice President & Business Continuity Manager, Robert W. Baird & Co., manages the enterprise-wide business continuity and disaster recovery programs, and has a lead role in crisis management operations.  Robert W. Baird is an international financial services company with its headquarters in Milwaukee, WI.   Reick has over 25 years combined experience in software development, IT audit, internal controls, and business continuity management.  His industry knowledge spans the healthcare, electronic funds transfer, financial services, and manufacturing sectors.  This unique blend of professional experience and industry knowledge provides Reick with an interesting and refreshing perspective on the challenges and opportunities of the business continuity process.  Reick holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, a Masters degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI. and the following professional certifications; Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information systems Auditor (CISA).  He is also a retired Command Sergeant Major with over 26 years service in the US Army and Army Reserve, including a tour in Afghanistan in 2003-2004.


Jeff Roseman

Jeff Roseman is Director of IS Infrastructure for Patterson Medical Holdings, Inc. the world’s leading distributor of rehabilitative medical supplies and non-wheelchair assistive products. He is a seasoned IT executive with over two decades of experience in both technology management and consulting roles. With past experience in marketing, sales, business process re-engineering, and as an IT Director, CIO and Consultant, he has worked both sides of the technology world. Mr. Roseman possesses an extensive background working with regional, national, and international businesses in a variety of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, legal, real estate, construction, non-profit and professional services. Focused primarily on IT infrastructure, he has a broad knowledge of strategy, networking, telecommunications, training & development, systems integration, mergers and acquisitions, facility relocation, and business continuity planning. Mr. Roseman continues to be successful moving IT teams from a crises management mentality to predictive, proactive, disciplined organization. He has previously lectured on network connectivity, customer relationship management, endpoint security, and disaster recovery planning. He previously served as Vice President - Chicago Chapter of International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners. Mr. Roseman has a bachelors degree and an MBA in Information Systems and Marketing from The University of Iowa. He is a member of The University of Iowa Tippie School of Management Advisory Committee (SoMAC).
