Steven Carlberg
Steven is the network architect for University HealthSystem
Consortium, an alliance of 102 academic medical centers and 184 of their
affiliated hospitals. In this capacity, Steven is responsible for the overall
design, selection, and integration of various networking technologies. Steven
will obtain his MBA at Northern Illinois University in December of this year. He
has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the California
State University at Hayward. Steven also served in the United States Navy in
the Nuclear Power Program for nine years onboard submarines.

Don Krueger
Don Krueger
is a
Senior Consultant of Virtualization at
GlassHouse Technologies, Inc.
He
is a twelve- year veteran of consulting and has more than
seventeen years of experience in IT. Since becoming a consultant, Don
has written a variety of different architectural designs for companies
ranging from in size from small shops to dozens of fortune 100
enterprises. Throughout his career, Don has focused on server-based
technologies and is an expert in technologies from Microsoft, Citrix,
HP, and Dell. For the last four years at GlassHouse Don’s primary focus
has been in server virtualization.

Eric Ledyard
Eric Ledyard steers Ahead’s technology
vision and is responsible for defining the company's evolving technology
strategy. Eric works directly with Ahead customers to understand their
current environment and assist in designing solutions that address
current needs while keeping an eye on future requirements. Prior to
joining Ahead, Eric was the Sr. Systems Engineer for the Business
Continuance and Disaster Recovery team, managing 20 states in the
Midwest. Eric was a key member of the technical competitive analysis
team at EMC providing expert insight on Hitachi Data Systems and IBM
virtualization products. Prior to working at EMC he held engineering
roles for Sun Microsystems as storage specialist as well as two
technology resellers specializing in storage solutions as well as
high-performance systems architecture. Prior to transitioning into a
pre-sales architecture, Eric has significant end user experience where
he was hands utilizing the technology and managing data center
environments, this experience provides him with a profound understanding
of all aspects of the value chain. Eric attended the Purdue School of
Engineering with focus on Computer Engineering and Electrical
Engineering Technology.

David Maislin
Twenty years ago, David Maislin worked in
UNIX administration when even simple access to the public Internet was
severely restricted. Rooted in email from mainframe PROFS, he gradually
migrated Motorola’s first SMTP distributed email platform based on TOPS
Inbox, ccMail, and open source Sendmail as the corporate MTA. Over the next
10 years, David consulted with many large enterprise organizations such as
American Express, Charles Schwab, and Motorola managing their entire UNIX
infrastructure, email, LDAP, and DNS. After 10 years of enterprise UNIX and
email experience David went to work in sales engineering and consulting for
various software start-ups specializing in identity validation, single
sign-on, and email encryption for companies such as Securant, RSA, Sigaba,
and Tumbleweed Communications. Drawing on his background, David speaks
to a wide range of messaging pain points and often takes the opportunity to
demonstrate how he has solved challenges for some of the world's most
demanding customers. As Sendmail Senior Director of Technical Services and
Strategy, David helps many of our largest enterprise customers understand
the requirements of complex messaging infrastructures and how to use best
practices.

Rob McKeown
Rob McKeown is a Distributed Systems Architect and has been employed by
Zurich Financial Services for the past ten years. He has over 20 years
experience in the IT industry in both software development and
operations support of mission critical applications. Rob's area of
expertise is in the automation of physical and now virtual server
deployment processes for the past four years. Rob strives towards
establishing and maintaining an N+1 infrastructure to leverage the
capabilities of VMware to get as much of the job done between 9am and
5pm as possible while also staying ahead of the demand for providing
fast solutions to the business. He is the lead architect and project
manager for his companies VMware infrastructure of 2000+ virtual
machines and 160+ hosts and directs the current efforts towards VI3
migration across ten data centers and three dozen field offices across
North America. Rob holds MCSE certification, but finds himself too busy
at work lately to take the time to test for VCP certification. He is a
graduate from Northern Illinois University with two B.S. degrees in
Theoretical Computer Science and Probability and Statistics.

Mike
Peebles
Mike Peebles is the
Product Marketing Manager at Hewlett-Packard responsible for the
Information Management suite of products in the America’s region. This
includes solutions for business continuity and availability, governance
and ediscovery as well as document workflow transformation. He has
extensive experience in architecting storage and data protection
solutions. Since joining HP in
1997, Mike has held technical and management positions within HP’s
storage and software businesses focusing on current as well as future
storage issues. Mike has applied his expertise within the Americas as
well as Europe. Prior to joining HP
Mike held hardware design engineering and engineering management
positions focused on HP-IB and SCSI storage device development.
Mike was also the Manager for Technology Assessment and Acceptance
during which he identified new storage solution business opportunities.
Mike has an MBA and a B.S. of Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University.

Nick Schmidt
Nick Schmidt
is currently the senior manager of CDW’s Information Technology, overseeing
IT infrastructure Services. Mr. Schmidt’s organization encompasses
Telecommunications, Network Services, System Engineering, IT Security, and
Data Center Services. He is a 30-year I.T. veteran. with extensive
experience leading organizations ranging from domestically focused
operations to multi-million dollar global technology organizations.
Prior to CDW, Mr. Schmidt has served in multiple capacities in private and
publically held companies primarily focusing on infrastructure excellence.
With extensive experience gained from within major telecommunications
providers as well as leading consumers of telecommunications services, Mr.
Schmidt brings a wealth of information to his perspective.

Joshua Shi is
Security Architect at TransUnion. He has
over a decade of Information Technology experience spanning over
multiple sectors - aviation, service, publishing, manufacturing, and
financial and non-profit organizations. He specializes in strategic
enterprise architecture/infrastructure projects using Microsoft
solutions, virtualization technologies, networking and now focuses on
Information Security. His visionary expertise has helped revolutionize
Small Businesses and Fortune companies, and has resulted in improving
people's lives through the use of technology. He has been proving
instrumental to the company's bottom line. Joshua holds MCSE, Small
Business Specialist, Security+, PCT, VCP and A+ certifications. He
graduated from The University of Phoenix with an Information Technology
degree and was recently awarded the Thunderbird, Garvin School of
International Management Global Management and Leadership Certificates.

Sumar is a Sr. Infrastructure Architect for Duff & Phelps. One of the
world’s leading independent financial advisory firms serving client
needs in the areas of valuation, investment banking and transaction
advice, and dispute consulting. Annur is responsible for planning,
designing, engineering and implementing the underlying technology
infrastructure for Duff & Phelps ranging from the Datacenter to the
Desktop. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Annur served as a Senior
Consultant for Unified Synergies, LLC a leading Technology Consulting
firm in the area of Strategic Infrastructure Design and Technology
driven Business Intelligence, positioning and designing strategic
technology driven process improvements for clients by aligning IT
Services, Engineering best practices, Operations Management, and
Helpdesk Support to lower Total Cost of Ownership and raise Return on
Investments. Annur’s most recent accomplishments for Q1 of 2009 at Duff
& Phelps includes the planning, designing and engineering of a Server
Consolidation / Virtualization Architecture and a Unified Infrastructure
Strategy based on the (MOF) Microsoft Operations Framework Model.

Susina
Steve
Susina has more than 20 years of engineering and marketing experience in the
telecommunications and IT industries and currently serves as Director of
Marketing for Laurus Technologies, a business consulting and IT solutions
provider based in Itasca, IL. Previously, he was Senior Product Manager for
UTStarcom's fixed/mobile convergence product line, and has also held various
sales, marketing and engineering roles at Tellabs and AT&T. His speaking
experience includes technology conferences around the world on such topics
as IT & business strategy, optical networking, compliance and identity
management and mobile communications. Susina holds a BS in Electrical
Engineering from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of
Pittsburgh.

Robert
Wilson
Robert Wilson has over 10 years of
experience in planning, managing and implementing Intel based
infrastructures. Robert has a long history with Intel server
consolidation and virtualization starting with the initial release of
VMware ESX platform more than 6 years ago. His background includes
infrastructure architecture and as well as virtual environment design
for several global insurance and financial firms in the greater New York
area. As the Service Director of Virtualization at GlassHouse
Technologies; Inc Robert is responsible for creating virtualization
service offerings for their clients, leading projects using proprietary
methodology to design, architect, deploy, migrate and manage
virtualization initiatives. Robert worked for RapidApp for two
years as a Regional Delivery Lead/Technical Architect before it was
acquired by GlassHouse Technologies in 2007. Robert’s background
includes working as a Server Consolidation Manager at AIG and most
recently a team leader of Infrastructure Architecture at Asurion Inc.
