Elias Khnaser
Elias is the virtualization and cloud computing practice manager for Sigma Solutions. In this capacity he draws on over 12 years of experience architecting some of the largest server-based computing environments in the world. As Sigma Solutions’ virtualization practice manager, Elias advises clients on all aspects of virtualization—from server to desktop, all the way through application virtualization. Prior to helping found Sigma Solutions, Elias worked for some of the country’s leading Fortune 500 companies managing teams responsible for environments as small as 2,500 users and as large as 14,000 users. In addition to his role at Sigma, Elias is a recognized industry analyst, speaker, published author, and frequent blogger at publications such as InformationWeek. His publications include: VMware ESX Server 3.0 & 3.5 CBT, VCP Exam Cram: VMware Certified Professional; Exam Cram: Citrix CCA MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 and 4.0 (Exams 223/256) (co-author); MCSE Designing Security for a Windows Server 2003 Network: Exam 70-298 Study Guide and DVD Training System (co-author); Citrix MetaFrame XP Including Feature Release 1 (co-author). Elias has a bachelor of science in business marketing from the Lebanese American University and holds numerous industry certifications from Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, Cisco, and other leading vendors.

Thomas LahaussoisThomas Lahaussois is the Global Technical Lead for Liquidware Labs.  Thomas has been an early adopter and Virtualization pioneer since 2003.  His main focus is designing and implementing solutions.  He has worked for software vendors and solution providers.  He has also pioneered virtualization based DR solutions.  He has worked with over 100 corporations in North America, Europe and APAC.

Eric Ledyard

Eric Ledyard steers Ahead’s technology vision and is responsible for defining the company's evolving technology strategy. Eric works directly with Ahead customers to understand their current environment and assist in designing solutions that address current needs while keeping an eye on future requirements. Prior to joining Ahead, Eric was the Sr. Systems Engineer for the Business Continuance and Disaster Recovery team, managing 20 states in the Midwest. Eric was a key member of the technical competitive analysis team at EMC providing expert insight on Hitachi Data Systems and IBM virtualization products. Prior to working at EMC he held engineering roles for Sun Microsystems as storage specialist as well as two technology resellers specializing in storage solutions as well as high-performance systems architecture. Prior to transitioning into a pre-sales architecture, Eric has significant end user experience where he was hands utilizing the technology and managing data center environments, this experience provides him with a profound understanding of all aspects of the value chain. Eric attended the Purdue School of Engineering with focus on Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology.

Jacob Lee

Mr. Lee has over 25 years of successful experience with aligning and applying complex Information Technologies to business objectives to drive productivity. He also possesses entrepreneurial spirit and ability to develop business in both strategic and technical areas. Prior to joining En Pointe, Mr. Lee founded Pacific Information System in Portland, OR to grow the company to be $125 million dollar VAR within five (5) years of business by utilizing his expertise of IBM mainframe connectivity to LAN and his extensive knowledge of SNA encapsulation in IP routing. In 1998, he merged his company with Better Online Solutions to be listed in NASDAQ: BOSC. He has extensive experiences in working for many firms in various trades. As a consultant and as a full time IT professional, he has worked for Willamette Industries, Columbia Mutual Funds, Hoffman Construction Company, Chronicle Broadcasting Company, Fairmont Hotel Management company to name a few. His experience spans the design, implementation, operating, optimization, interoperation, migration, and upgrade of numerous applications and network devices.

Chris Lewis

Chris Lewis is the Manager of Software Services for Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP. He manages the Citrix environment, packaged software deployment, the desktop platform, and mobility solutions. Chris is managing the Firm's migration strategy to Citrix as the primary computing platform, originally using a published applications approach.  Starting with version 4.0, XenDesktop became the direction and platform of the migration to meet the business objectives of the strategy.  The Firm also provides iPhones\iPads as a choice for a corporate mobile device.  Chris is managing the deployment of the iPhone\iPad and its integration using the with the Citrix environment to provide anytime\anywhere computing.  Prior to Sonnenschein, Chris spent 10 years in IT consulting with Accenture and Avanade delivering and managing large custom software and infrastructure deployment projects.

Rob Peglar

Rob Peglar, CTO-Americas, EMC Isilon. A 35-year industry veteran and published author, he leads the shaping of strategic vision, emerging technologies, defining future offering portfolios including business and technology requirements, product planning and industry/customer liaison. He is a member of the SNIA Board of Directors, serves as Chair of the SNIA Tutorials, as a Board member of the Green Storage Initiative, and as Secretary/Treasurer of the Blade Systems Alliance. He has extensive experience in storage virtualization, the architecture of large heterogeneous SANs, replication and archiving strategy, disaster avoidance and compliance, information risk management, distributed cluster storage architectures and is a sought-after speaker and panelist at leading storage and networking-related seminars and conferences worldwide. Prior to joining Xiotech in August 2000, Mr. Peglar held key technology specialist and engineering management positions over a nine-year period at StorageTek and at their networking subsidiary, Network Systems Corporation. Prior to StorageTek, he held engineering development and product management positions at Control Data Corporation and its supercomputer division, ETA Systems. Mr. Peglar holds the B.S. degree in Computer Science from Washington University, St. Louis Missouri, and performed graduate work at Washington University’s Sever Institute of Engineering. His research background includes I/O performance analysis, queuing theory, parallel systems architecture and OS design, storage networking protocols, clustering algorithms and virtual systems optimization.

John Premus
John Premus is the Service Director for Virtualization at GlassHouse Technologies.  With over 20 years of Executive level leadership, John has been instrumental in helping organizations develop visionary approaches for using virtualization technologies to improve their business and IT operation.  John came to GlassHouse by way of the Virtera acquisition and prior to that was CTO at SMBC.

Ilir Zenku, PMP, MCSE, MS

Ilir Zenku has more than 10 years of experience in IT management positions in healthcare, higher-education and non-profit industries. Currently leading the IT department of the prestigious University of Chicago (Physicians Group) as the Director of Information Systems. He has implemented a server virtualization project and currently executing a desktop virtualization project. His extensive collection of skills and knowledge spans from Microsoft technologies (MCSE with Exchange and SQL Server expertise) to project management expertise (PMP with Healthcare and IT project management expertise). Mr. Zenku holds a Master’s degree in IT Management from Illinois Institute of Technology and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University of Tirana, Albania. He is a member of several prominent organizations in the industry most notably the Project Management Institute (PMI), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and Microsoft Healthcare Users Group (MS-HUG).
