Jim Bell
As Chief Marketing Officer, Jim is responsible for all aspects of Jaspersoft’s global marketing efforts, including community growth, customer acquisition, and new market expansion. He leads Jaspersoft’s corporate marketing, demand generation, product marketing, and product management functions, bringing more than 20 years of experience leading growth in technology companies.
Prior to Jaspersoft, Jim was Vice President of Marketing at SmartTurn, a SaaS inventory and warehouse management software company acquired by Red Prairie. He also served as vice president at Electric Cloud and Actuate Corporation. Earlier in his career, Jim held product management and marketing leadership roles at companies including Vantive, MS2 (both now part of Oracle Corporation), Silicon Graphics and Hewlett-Packard. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
John Croft
John Croft is Director Business Intelligence and Analytics for Affirmative Insurance Holdings Inc. He is responsible for the delivery of information capture, analytical and delivery systems for a non-standard insurance and financial services provider. He is engaged in streamlining the information delivery process through consolidation and implementing continuous data capture and performance measurement. Efforts include enterprise-wide: Operational Data Store, Data Warehouse, Master Data Management, integrated data marts and standard reporting capabilities integrated through Internal and external portals.
John has over 40 years experience in the UK, Canada and the US the bulk of this experience has been focused on providing large and small data and information management architectures, data governance programs and BI/DW solutions in a variety of industries: Telecom, Consumer Package Goods, Financial Services, Commercial Software, Utilities and local government.
Vinay Jain
Vinay Jain is a Technical Strategist and Advisor with Morningview Technologies. In this capacity he assists leaders of organizations in developing architectures and designs for small to large scale systems- ranging from data management to SOA based applications; improve performance for mission critical systems; define/improve existing processes of design, development and testing capabilities.

Prior to Morningview Technologies, Vinay architected and led development of large scale real-time data management, BI solutions and custom applications with The Nielsen Company and has worked with a variety of Fortune 500 companies. In his spare time, Vinay enjoys learning new frameworks and is on the lookout for new trends, tools, technologies and processes that impact large scale systems.
Reid Karabush
Reid Karabush is President of Decision Systems Inc., based in Northbrook, IL . His expertise includes over
twenty years specializing in the field of business performance management and analytics, and is
recognized nationwide as an expert in these field. His recent activities include architecting and
designing systems for various clients including The Major League Baseball Players Association.
Reid has published various articles related to business analytics and OLAP and has mentored and trained
a number of software vendors including Hyperion, Pillar and Applix. His background includes working
within the software product management groups of Wang Laboratories and Comshare, where he
focused on multi-dimensional database, analytics, and executive information systems. His prior
experience included reporting forecasting and planning positions within a variety of industries.
Al Rago
Al Rago is the Director of Data Centric Quality at Analytics8. He has provided consulting solutions for more than 20 years in engineering and information technology in the Transportation, Manufacturing, Health Care, Financial Services, Industrial Automation, and Utilities industries. He has built successful consulting practices and implemented software testing strategies in the software quality field for the past 17 years and has extensive experience with automated software testing tools. Analytics8 is a Chicago based company specializing in data warehousing and business intelligence with offices in Raleigh, Dallas, Sydney and Melbourne.

Mr. Rago has served as a speaker for QAI International Quality Assurance Conference, QAI Software Testing Conference, Mercury Interactive Worldwide Users Conferences, STAR East, Chicago Quality Assurance Association and numerous panel discussions and local users groups.
Jonathan Seidman
Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in software development, with a focus in the last few years on processing large data sets using tools such as Hadoop. Jonathan was a core member of the team that planned and deployed the Hadoop infrastructure at Orbitz Worldwide, and is currently a Lead Engineer on the Business Intelligence/Big Data team, responsible for the management of the big data infrastructure and supporting users in accessing and using that infrastructure. Jonathan is a co-founder and organizer of the Chicago Hadoop User Group and the Chicago Big Data meetup group. Jonathan is also a frequent speaker on Hadoop and big data, including industry conferences such as Hadoop World, Strata, and OSCON.
Eric Sherlock
Eric Sherlock is a Data Services Team Lead at redbox and has engineered other high-volume DW/BI systems for financial, healthcare & internet companies.
David Wiseman
As Director of Business Development at Sybase, an SAP company, David Wiseman is responsible for the development and deployment of Enterprise-level marketing programs and sales initiatives for Data Analytics solutions and the Telecom Industry sector.
During his twelve years at Sybase he has led North America technical sales, launched sales programs in support of several product lines, and managed the Sybase-IBM global partnership. His background includes federal sales at IBM and software development program management for the DoD.
Mr. Wiseman holds an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Mary Washington.
