Mike Emerick
Prior to joining MapR Technologies, Mike co-founded and oversaw the IBM healthcare transformation lab. The Lab was a center for healthcare integration and analytics. His work included genomic research of the HIV virus, the human genome, and many domesticated plants working internationally on Health information exchange and Insurance exchanges. In his current role as Architect with MapR, Mike has been working with financial institutions often consuming terabytes of data a day.

In his spare time he has founded a non-profit that works on the aggregation of environmental, genomic and micro-biomes for controlled environment agriculture/UrbanAG and is now working with the electronic frontier foundation to develop a new licenses for providing and keeping data and insights open. (Open Data licences). He is active in the Chicago hacker/maker movement and logs many of his creative hours at Workshop 88 his home maker space.
 
 
Michael Fahey
With nearly 20 years of experience in technology and product strategy and development, Mike is a key member of the executive team.
Currently the Chief Strategy Officer, Mike is a strategy and delivery consultant focused on data and analytics. Mike’s focus is on the evolution of corporate data strategies, from point solutions to service enablers. Mike’s current areas of specialization include closed loop analytics, Big Data management, and non-traditional data sourcing.
His portfolio of work, including solutions for Anderson Consulting, Knightsbridge Solutions and as CTO for HP BI Solutions Group, includes industry-leading data and analytic solutions for some of the largest companies in the world.
Mike has a B.A. in Computer Science from Columbia University in New York City, NY.
 
Neil Goodrich
As the technology leader at the M. Holland Company, Neil is responsible for not only setting the IT strategy but driving change within the organization. His multi-disciplinary background includes previous lives in accounting, project management, and investigation while his recent work has focused on building IT teams around cultures of creativity. He received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and later returned there to earn his Masters in Business Administration.
 
Craig Jordan
Craig has been a software developer and architect for more than 15 years. After first applying data warehousing and business intelligence to software process improvement in the mid 90s, he moved into architecting and leading the development of web applications. As Business Intelligence Advisor, Craig is accountable for leading the development or a long range business intelligence architecture applying concepts from transactional system architecture to the business intelligence environment.  
 
Al Rago
Al Rago is the Director of Data Centric Quality at Analytics8. He has provided consulting solutions for more than 20 years in engineering and information technology in the Transportation, Manufacturing, Health Care, Financial Services, Industrial Automation, and Utilities industries. He has built successful consulting practices and implemented software testing strategies in the software quality field for the past 17 years and has extensive experience with automated software testing tools. Analytics8 is a Chicago based company specializing in data warehousing and business intelligence with offices in Raleigh, Dallas, Sydney and Melbourne.

Mr. Rago has served as a speaker for QAI International Quality Assurance Conference, QAI Software Testing Conference, Mercury Interactive Worldwide Users Conferences, STAR East, Chicago Quality Assurance Association and numerous panel discussions and local users groups.
 
Brian Ringley
Brian Ringley is a highly-skilled Business Intelligence technology professional with over 10 years of IT experience and a proven track record of successful solution implementations. Since 2001, Brian has advocated the benefits of BI, data warehousing and advanced analytics, almost exclusively with the Microsoft BI stack. His past work has taken place in a variety of industries including healthcare, professional services, advertising, retail & distribution and financial services.
