Ramu Kalvakuntla
Mr. Kalvakuntla is a senior-level Program Manager/ Enterprise Architect with over 15 years’ of IT experience. During his career he has leveraged both his technical expertise and business knowledge to architect and manage large-scale Data Warehouse, Data integration and Business Intelligence systems. It is this unique ability to bridge both technology and business goals that has enabled Mr. Kalvakuntla to deliver projects that fully leverage the most appropriate technology while satisfying the business drivers that ultimately determine success. His experience includes the successful completion of numerous strategy and roadmap engagements that defined key business and IT drivers and mapped out multi-step plans, with documented ROI, that delivered true business value.
 
Brian Kumfer
Brian is an energetic, strategic, and forward thinking technology leader with extensive experience in all facets of the software development lifecycle for core business intelligence reporting systems and enterprise applications. He takes pride in building relationships with the business (peers through C-Suite) to gain trust and establish partnerships toward common goals and objectives. Brian is able to build out project plans and provide business analysis guidance to ensure the end solution meets the customers expectations and delivers long term value. He is willing to speak up and take on necessary risks, within boundaries, to stand behind what makes most sense for the business and the IT strategic roadmap . Brian is successful at invoking organizational and process changes to support new data delivery models and methods. He educates and negotiates with business leadership and management and with broader management / infrastructure / support analysts to ensure successful development, deployment, and ROI on business solutions.
 
Venu Nair
Venu Nair is the Director of Global BI at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. He oversees Financial and Operational BI solutions at AJG. Prior to joining Arthur J. Gallagher, Mr. Nair has led BI teams at Hewitt Associates and at Ernst & Young's financial & healthcare consulting practice out of their Chicago location. He has extensive experience in BI strategy, project implementations and operations in healthcare, banking and insurance settings.

Most recently, Mr. Nair’s primary responsibilities included the strategy, selection, implementation and ongoing support of Arthur J. Gallagher’s Financial BI Platform. The platform supports delivery of a variety of reporting and analytical functions at AJG. Mr. Nair also has accountability for the delivery of budgeting and forecasting systems at AJG.
Mr. Nair graduated from Bangalore University (India) with a B.E. /B.S. in Computer Science. He earned his M.B.A. with distinction from the Kellstadt School of Business (Depaul University) in Chicago.
 
Patrick Pitre
Patrick Pitre is the Technical Solution Architect for the Enterprise Information suite of applications at a leading US Retailer. Patrick is responsible for the technical strategy and roadmap for delivering Business Intelligence and Analytic capabilities. Included in these responsibilities are the strategies for traditional data warehousing as well as next generation data warehousing ("Big Data"). Patrick has almost 15 years of experience in operations/support management with 6 of those years spent focused on data warehouse technology. Patrick has extensive experience improving performance in both data loads and reporting for the Business Intelligence space. He also has experience with large scale data warehouse implementations. Patrick was one of the first operations managers to implement the Oracle Exadata solution into production.

Patrick has experience with most of the major DW/BI technologies having run data warehouses on multiple platforms. Patrick has experience in multiple industries, having ran data warehouses in the Financial Services and Retail industries. He also has Defense/Government operations management experience.
 
Sean Riley
Sean Riley is a Director of Strategic Business Solutions for Software AG and supports the supply chain practice for the Americas by working with the company’s largest retail and manufacturing customers. His focus areas include value discovery and enablement; process improvement; financial and economic modeling; and collaboration enablement. Mr. Riley has over ten years of experience in supply chain related fields with a specific focus on logistics operations. In addition to his work experience, Mr. Riley received a BA in Business Administration from Hanover College and a MBA with Distinction in Managerial Finance from DePaul University. After receipt of his MBA, Mr. Riley has served as a guest lecturer for DePaul focusing on new value proposition development within a set growth strategy.
 
David Robledo
David has been with Purdue University’s College of Engineering since 2006. In his role of Director of Data Analytics and Information, he oversees college-level reporting and analytical initiatives. As a member of the Dean’s Cabinet and college’s Leadership Team, he works closely with his peers to meet the most pressing resourcing and strategic questions facing the colleges in a data-informed manner. At the university level, David is the founder and chair of the College Data Managers group. This committee brings together key stakeholders from across Purdue’s data community to share best practices, solve common problems and raise the BI-fluency across the university. David also represents his college counterparts at the university’s BI Strategic Priorities governance committee, where top BI initiatives are sponsored.

Prior to joining Purdue, David worked nine years for Intel Corporation holding various positions in the company’s IT and supply chain divisions. In his last role with the company, David managed the ETL Change Management team within the Data Warehousing department.
 
Steve Sarsfield
Steve Sarsfield is a leading expert in data management and data governance. His book, the Data Governance Imperative, focuses on the process of making decisive change in an organization to develop business value from corporate data. Steve is a popular public speaker on the topic, having delivered many presentations at industry conferences throughout the United States and Europe. Steve draws practical wisdom and inspiration from his colleagues at HP Vertica Software and its customers as they strive to achieve data value through data governance.
 

Richard Skriletz

Richard A Skriletz is a manager and management consultant with more than 35 years experience working in large corporate and start-up environments. His professional focus is on leading the strategic application of information technology to customer-focused business operations, improving operational performance, managing organizational and technical change, and optimizing business operations. As the global leader of the Business Intelligence and Data Delivery practice for RCG IT, Mr. Skriletz evaluates technologies, vendors, and market trends and works with customers to help them drive business results with better managed data.

 
Benjamin Taub
With over 20 years of business intelligence and data architecture experience, Ben is personally involved with all of Dataspace’s client service efforts. As part of our commitment to our clients and the data industry as a whole, Ben acts as a sounding board for Dataspace customers and other industry figures. He co-authored the McGraw Hill / Oracle Press books ORACLE8 DATA WAREHOUSING and ORACLE8i DATA WAREHOUSING as well as McGraw Hill/Osborne’s SQL SERVER 7 DATA WAREHOUSING. In the past Ben served as the data warehousing focus area manager for the International Oracle Users Group - Americas (IOUG-A) conference committee. Prior to starting Dataspace in 1994, Ben held information technology positions with Andersen Consulting and MicroStrategy, Incorporated. A certified public accountant (CPA), Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. In addition to data, Ben's passions include aviation and history.
