Michael Fahey
With nearly 20 years of experience in technology and product strategy and development, Mike is a key member of the executive team.
Currently the Chief Strategy Officer, Mike is a strategy and delivery consultant focused on data and analytics. Mike’s focus is on the evolution of corporate data strategies, from point solutions to service enablers. Mike’s current areas of specialization include closed loop analytics, Big Data management, and non-traditional data sourcing.
His portfolio of work, including solutions for Anderson Consulting, Knightsbridge Solutions and as CTO for HP BI Solutions Group, includes industry-leading data and analytic solutions for some of the largest companies in the world.
Mike has a B.A. in Computer Science from Columbia University in New York City, NY.
John Hershberger
John Hershberger manages the Applied Analytics organization in Member Experience-Research and the analysis team at USAA. He has worked in analytics for more than 30 years, focusing on market, sales, and service analytics. Prior to joining USAA, John led analytic organizations at HP, Citibank, Allstate, Ameritech, and Providian. John has an M.S. in engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA and M.S. in transportation from Florida Tech.  
Ramu Kalvakuntla
Mr. Kalvakuntla is a senior-level Program Manager/ Enterprise Architect with over 15 years’ of IT experience. During his career he has leveraged both his technical expertise and business knowledge to architect and manage large-scale Data Warehouse, Data integration and Business Intelligence systems. It is this unique ability to bridge both technology and business goals that has enabled Mr. Kalvakuntla to deliver projects that fully leverage the most appropriate technology while satisfying the business drivers that ultimately determine success. His experience includes the successful completion of numerous strategy and roadmap engagements that defined key business and IT drivers and mapped out multi-step plans, with documented ROI, that delivered true business value.

Shane Legleiter

Shane Legleiter is the Practice Director at Analytics8.  Formerly, he was the Director of MIS Reporting within the Shared Services Organization for CNA.  This included direct responsibility for corporate dashboards, scorecards, and standard report design and development.  His focus was on expanding BI across the enterprise using a variety of tools to make information more readily accessible to CNA business users.  Prior to his role in BI at CNA, he worked in various business areas including Actuverdana and Claim.

Dan Melcher
Dan Melcher has over 23 years of experience in the software industry in various roles including: project lead, web developer, senior programmer, technical sales, technical alliance manager and RIA architect. Dan joined Actuate in October 1999 and has been responsible for providing technical assistance mostly in presales situations, technical certifications and architecting applications. Prior to joining Actuate, Dan created diverse applications for companies including LTV Aerospace and Morningstar, Inc.

Jim Vaselopulos
Jim Vaselopulos is a seasoned business executive with domain expertise in Financial Services, Marketing, Manufacturing and Service Industries. Jim works closely with many firms to help align business needs and technology for competitive advantage. His many roles include Senior Vice President at PSC Group, LLC, interim CIO at several organizations and strategic business consultant to many others. His speaking engagements include regional executive events, various podcasts, industry organizations and technology-centric educational institutions such as the University of Illinois. Jim holds an Engineering degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Marquette University.

Aaron Walz
As Director of Decision Support for the Administrative Information Technology Services group at the University of Illinois, Aaron Walz is responsible for the strategy, management, and operations of the University’s Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing environments and activities.
Aaron has been with the University of Illinois over eleven years, and has helped build the University’s BI program and team from the ground up. He has worked extensively with information producers, consumers, and stakeholders at all levels of the University, and played a lead role in shaping BI strategies and plans over the years.
Prior to joining the University, Aaron held positions in client services, software quality assurance, and consulting at high-tech startup companies in healthcare and electronic commerce.
Aaron presents nationally on Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing in higher education at a number of industry conferences. He is also an elected member of the Executive Board for the Higher Education Data Warehousing Forum, a network of Data Warehousing professionals from over 500 colleges and universities across 22 different countries.
