Speakers at the Enterprise Mobility Strategies Conference

CJ Barton
CJ grew up in the town of “yinzers” (aka Pittsburgh, PA). According to him, the ‘burgh is where everything and anything can be stuffed into a sandwich, including coleslaw and french fries. He earned his degree in finance from the University of Pittsburgh and began his career in hi–tech at EMC. He participated in EMC’s world-renowned insides sales and technology development program where he learned consultative selling from some of the industry’s best. During his 10-year tenure he held a wide range of customer-facing sales roles, from SMB-focused all the way up to the Fortune 100.

In pursuit of satisfying his entrepreneurial spirit, CJ next jumped into Beantown’s start up community with Vertica where he held regional sales responsibilities both before and after Vertica’s acquisition by HP. Most recently CJ was one of the early trailblazers at Hadapt, acquired by TeraData, bringing solutions to Big Data problems to market.

CJ prides himself in creating value and earning credibility with his customers, with a deeper motivation of breaking the stigma of sales by bringing clients real, measurable results with innovative technology.

When he’s not cheering on his Pittsburgh sports teams, CJ enjoys sports and outdoor activities. Weekends often include basketball, golf, hunting, snowboarding, and spending time with his family.
