Randy Wimmer

Accomplished, results driven leader with over 25 years of IT and business experience. Developer of strategies as well as tactical solutions enabling IT Portfolio Management and PMO capabilities within various companies such as Allstate Insurance, MillerCoors and currently Walgreens. Successfully and consistently demonstrates an ability to deliver seamless, cost effective solutions leveraging critical thinking and established frameworks (e.g. PMBOK, CMM, ITIL, etc.). Enjoys working in a team setting that utilizes common goal/objectives definition, collaboration, joint problem solving, and knowledge sharing. Develops fellow professionals (internally/externally) by providing coaching, mentoring, and serving as a volunteer conference chairman for CAMP IT Conferences. He is an avid craft beer fan and is planning to take the Certified Cicerone exam.

 

Joel Basgall
Over the past twenty-four years, Joel has been a technical leader and innovator in software and data architecture, practice management, and project leadership.  He has combined this expertise and solid methodology to mold groups of people into hyper-efficient software development teams.  Joel’s technical background covers mainframe, client/server and internet, and transcends specific platforms. Joel’s particularly unique and powerful contribution to Geneca is his “thinking methodology” which allows him to quickly and correctly abstract software requirements into systems-level designs that are robust and extensible. Prior to Geneca, Joel owned another software firm and was employed by such organizations as Kemper Financial and McMaster Carr.  Joel earned his BS in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.

 
Dave Blumhorst
Dave Blumhorst joined Daptiv in December 2009 and his professional services team is focused on enabling successful business outcomes for customers using Daptiv's PPM toolset. Prior to joining Daptiv, Dave ran EffectiveIT Group, a Daptiv partner and process consulting firm, that delivered implementation services to Fortune 1000 clients such as Carlyle Group, Beam Global, and Aegon USA.

Dave is a seasoned executive that has run IT, professional services, and finance departments. He has served as a controller and CFO for small to mid-sized companies, served as CIO at mid-sized companies such as Clarent, and was the senior director of the IT-PMO at PeopleSoft. Throughout his 30+ year career he has always found innovative ways to use technology to create business value.
 
Natalie Born
Natalie Born is a technology executive with over 14 years of experience in project management, and has held several roles within Product Development and Portfolio Management. Natalie is currently the Director of The Center of Excellence within the Global Technology Portfolio Management Office at Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG). IHG is the largest hotel operator in the world. The Global Technology PMO manages a portfolio of over $150M in projects and programs.
Natalie has conducted business in over 17 countries across North America, Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Most of her international project experience is from outsourcing, organic international growth, or mergers and acquisitions. Natalie received her Bachelor’s from Oglethorpe University and her MBA from University of Maryland University College. She is also PMP certified and ScrumMaster certified.  
 
Jerod Buckel
Jerod Buckel is a Senior Solution Architect with WinMill Software. Jerod’s more than 15 years of experience working in Information Technology related initiatives and organizations range from consulting in the field of organizational change and end user education related to Enterprise Resource Planning solutions to working as an analyst within Portfolio Management Office and Office of the CIO organizations to consulting organizations on Portfolio Management recommended practices and the implementation of the CA Clarity PPM software. Jerod has been recognized as a Master IT Architect through the Open Group and has been certified in Integrated Resource Management and ITIL Foundations.
 
Jennifer Ciolino
Jen Ciolino is responsible for Enterprise Portfolio Management for Dow Corning and manages a department of program and project managers that deliver IT and enterprise programs and projects. She is part of the IT Leadership Team and works closely with Dow Corning’s enterprise architecture function to articulate the IT portfolio in terms of business value and its fit in the overall enterprise portfolio.

Prior to Dow Corning, Jen established and managed the governance process for technology investment decisions at Grant Thornton LLP. Jen has expertise and experience in many areas of IT, including IT Strategy, strategic business alignment, project management, vendor management, SDLC, and architecture and design. Jen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and is ITIL v.3 Foundations Certified.
 
 
Taylor Dubois
Taylor Dubois is a PMO Consultant for Bank of America’s eCommerce Architecture and Segments Technology organization. In this role, he is responsible for leading the Resource and Capacity Management team, which oversees the tools and processes needed to manage resources, financial forecasting, project alignments and resource utilization across a technology organization spanning thousands of global resources. Taylor joined Bank of America in 2008. Prior to his current role, he served in the Technology Infrastructure division as an Engagement Manager, interfacing the line of business leadership with the technology operations teams. Taylor graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Sciences and Technology, specializing in Systems Integration.
Taylor currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his girlfriend and dog. He is originally from Laramie, Wyoming.
 
Frank La Rocca
Frank La Rocca is the director of Business Improvement Services within the Finance Organization at Consolidated Edison. He is responsible for Investment Optimization (both capital and O&M), The Enterprise Project Management Office, and Business Process Improvement.
Prior to Con Edison, Frank spent 20 years in KeySpan Energy in the Information Technology area. In 2002, he assumed the role of VP Information Technology and CIO. By creating several new IT Governance committees, reorganizing, and by implementing several best practice new processes, he was responsible transforming the IT organization and building a comprehensive 5 year IT Strategy and Vision.
Frank brings a strong and diverse background including all aspects of Information Technology and Financial Governance. Accomplishments include start-ups and merger integrations, business transformation and cultural transformation.
Frank lives in downtown Manhattan. He enjoys photography, fitness training (including teaching cycling classes) and is currently studying the Italian language. Frank has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a Business Administration minor.
 
Mike Lawrence
Mike has over 20 years experience in IT Development and IT Project Portfolio Management, having spent the last 18 years with Primavera and now Oracle, developing, managing and defining world class project portfolio management solutions. Mike earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and started his career in IT as a software programmer, designer and architect. Next Mike moved into IT project and release management, with hands on experience adopting Agile software practices and managing multiple concurrent projects and programs, across numerous development teams distributed worldwide. Mike is now a Director of Product Strategy within Oracle Primavera.
 

Susan Malisch
Susan Malisch currently serves as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Loyola University Chicago. In this capacity, Susan leads the development and implementation of the University’s information technology (IT) strategic direction, and delivers IT services that support student learning, faculty research and teaching, administrative processes, and public service. Ms. Malisch was the recipient of the 2010 CIO of the Year award co-sponsored by the Executives Club of Chicago and the Association of IT Professionals and currently serves as Chairman for the Board of Trustees of the Chicago Chapter of the Society of Information Management. Prior to joining Loyola, she held technology leadership roles at Novell, Cambridge Technology Partners, UCLA, and ATT (formerly Southwestern Bell Communications). Ms. Malisch earned a B.S.B.A. degree in Computer Information Systems from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.

 

Tony McClain

Tony brings over 30 years of professional management experience to his role as a Senior Client Partner at Geneca. He serves Geneca clients by leveraging technology to solve their business challenges and ensuring they get full value from their software investment. He is appreciated by clients and co-workers alike as a trusted, collaborative leader and mentor, committed to the growth and success of everyone he works with.
Tony comes to Geneca from Daugherty where he was Head of Delivery and a leading Principal Consultant after successfully performing several IT delivery roles. Prior to that, Tony worked as a lead Software Engineer at Dominick’s. In addition to many years in retail food management at both Dominick’s and Jewel Food Stores, Tony has vertical industry experience in Enterprise Software and Services, Media, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Retail. He received his B.S. in Finance from Illinois State University and his B.S. in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University.

 
Amy McJoynt
Amy is a Director of Application Development for the Consulting division of Aon Hewitt, located in Lincolnshire, Illinois. She manages various portfolios to deliver technology solutions for executive benefits, health, retirement, performance management, and engagement surveys. She helps develop, coach and mentor Project and Portfolio managers and their teams to deliver on time, on budget, and with high quality.
Amy has spent over twenty years at Aon Hewitt, assisting consultants and clients to implement technology solutions. Areas of interest include integration of organizations, cultural analysis, global team development, process definition, data flow and warehousing. Amy has been involved in all aspects of technology: discovery, definition, design, development, training, support. She has worked with a wide variety of global clients including GM, Sodexo, Proctor and Gamble, Walmart, Sears, and Verizon.
Prior to joining Hewitt Associates, Amy was a programmer/analyst at Continental Bank and a consultant with Booz, Allen, and Hamilton. She holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems and a minor in computer science from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
 
Christopher Peckham
With over 20 years of technology and project management experience in the consulting, investment/banking, internet, distribution and healthcare industries, Mr. Peckham specializes in implementing sustaining project and portfolio management methodologies. His experience includes leading development and infrastructure projects and programs, establishing and leading Project Management Offices, and developing and leading training sessions. By integrating project processes with portfolio management, service delivery frameworks and other operational processes, he exposes opportunities to help improve and maintain a company-wide focus on business objectives.
Mr. Peckham is currently Vice President, Project Standards at The Northern Trust. 
 
Sameer Sawant
Sameer Sawant is an adaptive IT Leader having over twenty years of progressively advancing career with experience in IT Application Development, IT Service Delivery and IT Service Management. His experience includes engagement governance of Managed Service Providers to ensure successful project execution and delivery. Currently, he leads the Infrastructure Planning and Design team; provisioning IT Infrastructure for CNA’s Business and Technology Portfolio initiatives. He holds BS with Physics major from University of Bombay and a MBA from Northern Illinois University.
 
Claude Scher
Claude is a graduate of Compiegne Technology University in France with an engineering degree in Computer Science and holds a master in Business Administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee. Since 2012, Claude has been a repeat presenter at the CAMP IT Portfolio Management Conferences
Throughout his career, he has had the chance to be involved and managed at different level of leadership a variety of projects and programs in the Information Technology and Supply Chain field. At GE Healthcare, Claude managed several global IT implementation projects for Supply Chain and Manufacturing spanning across Europe, Asia and North America. At Kohler and Johnson Controls, he was responsible for large ERP implementations with an opportunity to perform complex contract management including portfolio management work.
More recently, Claude spent 4 years at MillerCoors as an Enterprise Portfolio Manager, overseeing the implementation of a new PPM solution as well as the deployment of several Portfolio planning and sequencing processes as well as release / dependencies management.
Claude is currently the PMO manager for Charter Manufacturing, a very large family-owned steel and iron production and manufacturing company in Mequon, WI where he enjoys working on maturing PMO organizations.
Claude is also the current President of the PMI Milwaukee / Southeast WI Chapter.  
 
Richard Shapiro
Richard Shapiro has an extensive background in the planning, design, implementation and management of the Clarity PPM system. He has specialized in administering and analyzing project and resource performance. He has developed methods of tracking project, program and product life cycles in Clarity. He has organized Clarity resource management for IT organizations with over 14,000 members. He has implemented Clarity in public and private sector arenas, optimizing the solution to meet the needs of individual clients. He has worked with all versions of Clarity, from the original Niku product up to and including V13. Richard is a well-known expert in the use of the Clarity PPM system and has spoken at many professional conferences on project and portfolio management, including appearances for Gartner Group at their PPM summit. Richard is certified in Clarity V13.
Richard ran the Program Administration Office at Royal Caribbean Cruises in Miami, FL for 9 years. He is past Vice President of the Clarity PPM Global User Community Board of Directors and is currently a member at large of the GUC Board.
Richard has authored several white papers and articles, including “Taking your PMO to the next level” published by the Gartner group.
 
Joe Thykattil
Joe Thykattil is a Technology Strategist with twenty years of experiences in the Options Trading, Exchange and Utilities area. Currently serves as a Strategist for a well known technology firm. During his engagement as an IT Manager of Architecture at Exelon Corporation, he led and contributed to the Cloud Strategy Playbook standardization process as well as the IT Portfolio Service Catalog development and integration during Exelon’s merger with Constellation Energy. In addition, he has held positions at DRW Trading Group, Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and Citadel Investment Group. Joe also serves as an Adjunct Faculty Professor of Economics at the ITT Business School in Arlington Heights, IL. He has earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
 
Mike Yager
Mike Yager has been working with organizational change initiatives in various capacities for the past eighteen years. Mike currently leads multiple change initiatives for Planview that focus on organizational adoption and end user enablement, associated with the implementation of enterprise software.

Mike has a BS in Business Management from Western Governors University, is a member of the Association of Change Management Professionals, and is a Prosci® Certified Change Management Practitioner. Mike lives in Austin, Texas and is an avid marathoner.
