Victor Hsiang
Victor Hsiang is an accomplished Information Security, Risk and IT Professional with over 17 years of experience working within the Financial Services and Healthcare sectors. He has an established track record of delivering successful IT and Information Security solutions that manages risk while supporting business requirements. His experience includes implementation of technology, security audits, risk assessments, information records management, privacy concerns, compliance and legal issues related to security, forensics, security practices and policy development. He currently leads the Information Security program at GATX Corporation.

Joe Kocinski
Joe is the Data Center Services Manager for Ace Hardware Corporation in Oak Brook, IL.
For the last three years, as Ace has gone through a “business transformation” replacing home grown
mainframe systems with SAP and other application packages, Joe has directed a new dual data center operation, enhanced the data protection strategy, and built a “business services” team to support all data coming in and going out of the company. Joe earned the ITIL Foundation Certificate and uses this framework to drive process improvements, running the IT Change Management program, and working with the business to manage Service Availability. Joe participates in industry groups including AFCOM and itSMF.

Joe’s previous roles include Technical Services Manager, where he replaced old equipment with state-of-the-art technology, providing more capacity at lower cost and increased resiliency; and Database Manager.

Joe has been an adjunct instructor at Benedictine University teaching Database Systems for the Masters in MIS Program for over 20 years. Joe earned his BS in Math & Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana, and his MBA degree from Loyola University in Chicago.
 
 
Eli Lopez
Eli has extensive experience in the storage industry both as a customer and working for multiple innovative storage vendors such as NetApp, EMC, and Reduxio, where he has held technical, sales, product roles. Eli holds a BSc in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, is married with 4 children and lives in Israel.
 
Edward Marchewka
Edward Marchewka is the Director of Information Technology for Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network. In his role, Edward is responsible for maintaining and securing the infrastructure for 24/7/365 operations, supporting the IT customer environment, and delivering and supporting the enterprise applications that run Gift of Hope. His teams work with Gift of Hope’s internal and external customers to deliver high quality information and technology services. Edward is also the Founder and Creator of CHICAGO Metrics™, a platform to a program to help manage your company's key IT and Information Security risks enabling you to have a better conversation with business leadership in terms that they understand.

Before joining Gift of Hope Edward was the Enterprise Information Security and Server Operations Manager (CISO) for Chicago Public Schools, the third largest school district in the country. Additionally, his IT background includes experiences from running his own business to field service to Fortune 250 experience with Thermo Fisher Scientific. Edward holds active certifications from: (ISC)2, ITIL, PCI, Microsoft, CompTIA, and a designation from the NSA, along with legacy certifications from: Cisco and HP. He is a member of (ISC)2, AITP, and a Board Member with the Chicago InfraGard. Edward is involved with: ChicagoFIRST, Chicago Electronic Crimes Task Force, and is on the governing body for Evanta’s CISO Executive Summit.

Edward has completed, from Northern Illinois University, an MBA and an MS in Mathematics and, from Thomas Edison State College, a BS in Nuclear Engineering Technologies and a BA in Liberal Studies. He also holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
 
Eric Robin
Eric Robin’s main career goal is that everyone is well prepared, but no one ever has to use the plans he creates. As Manager of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery at Astellas Pharma US, Eric designs plans for the Americas. Prior to joining Astellas, Eric was in business continuity and disaster recovery roles in both the financial and manufacturing industries. Currently, Eric also serves as webmaster for the Business Resumption Planners Association. He is a certified business continuity planner (CBCP) and has and MBA with a concentration in IT project management from Roosevelt University.
 
Robert Rognstad
A Wisconsin native, Robert began his career in 1998 at LaCrosse Footwear, Inc. formerly known as Rainfair, Inc. as a Network Administrator. In 2002 he relocated to Chicago to join U.S. Cellular as a Systems Administrator. In 2005, Robert joined Equilibrium IT Solutions as a Systems Engineer, rising through the ranks to manager and eventually into an outside sales / consulting role. Robert studied Business Administration at University of Phoenix and Roosevelt University in Chicago. Robert has earned several technical certifications including Microsoft’s MCSE, Citrix’s CCA and VMware’s VCP certifications.

Being a part of the Chicago Business and Technology community for nearly 15 years, Robert joined ETS in February of 2014 as a Senior Partner and owner. Robert now leads ETS’s Sales, Marketing and Engineering teams. Robert is passionate about technology's unique ability to transform organizations and improve people’s lives.
 

Jeff Roseman
Jeff is an experienced IT executive with over two decades of experience in both technology management and consulting roles. With experience in global business, marketing, sales, business process re-engineering, and as an IT director, CIO and consultant, he has worked both sides of the technology world. Mr. Roseman possesses an extensive background working with regional, national, and international businesses in a variety of industries including professional services, healthcare, distribution, manufacturing, legal, real estate, construction, and non-profit. He has a broad knowledge of IT strategy, networking, telecommunications, training & development, systems integration, mergers and acquisitions, facility relocation, and business continuity planning.

Mr. Roseman continues to be successful moving IT teams from a crises management mentality to predictive, proactive, disciplined organization. He has previously lectured on social media & networking, IT leadership, customer relationship management, endpoint security, and disaster recovery planning. Mr. Roseman has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Information Systems and Marketing from the University of Iowa. He mentors undergraduate/MBA students in the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business and serves on College’s SoMAC board. He lives in Wheaton with his wife and two teenage daughters.

 
Eric Torres
Eric Torres joined Datto, Inc. as Channel Development Manager in March of 2015. Prior to joining, he ran the Datto sales, operations, and business practices for a successful 65 person managed service provider out of Milwaukee, WI. There, he was a member of the Datto Advisory Board and had given peer to peer presentations at several industry events, sharing his knowledge and expertise on business continuity. Recently named to CRN Magazine’s “100 People You Don’t Know, But Should” list, Eric brings his passion for business continuity and the managed service provider community to this role, and focuses on supporting the Datto Partner Community in growing their business.  
 

Robert Warja

Robert Warja has many years of experience in IT Data Center management, including disaster recovery and change control, working mainly in the banking sector, although he has also held roles within the beverage and insurance industries along the way. He has significant experience in Business Continuity and currently serves as the Business Continuity Officer for Marquette Bank. Bob has built DR and BCP programs from scratch, and is all-too-familiar with the challenge of selling DR/BCP to senior management.

 

Dennis Wenk

He has consulted worldwide with large Fortune 500 customers; Generating demand for Cloud Infrastructures and implementing private cloud solutions for technology-intensive organizations in over 20 different countries; tackling the challenging, complex, and ambiguous problems associated with transformations. His experience includes developing architectures and strategies for highly available, resilient and secure infrastructures in heterogeneous IT environments.

He has performed quantitative operational risk assessments that were used to justify the significant investments required to build, transform and maintain resilient infrastructures; he has performed technology assessments, IT consolidation and transition strategies, and developed site selection criteria for complex heterogeneous technology consolidations. In addition, he has developed charging methodologies, performed capacity planning and performance evaluations in large, complex IT environments. Dennis has developed a number of risk-based services that quantify the return on technology investments that increase competitive advantage, operational resiliency and improve continuity programs.
